ABOUT US
EduTutorVA pairs undergraduate and graduate students
with students in grades 3-8 for a year of
high-impact virtual math or reading tutoring.
Our tutors are education and other majors from 14 Virginia colleges and universities. EduTutors are well-trained and compensated to provide high-dosage tutoring to small groups of students three times a week from October through May.

Our Mission:
EduTutorVA offers high-impact virtual tutoring by trained college tutors to Virginia students in high-needs schools. The students receive targeted, consistent small-group instruction, and the tutors receive a positive introduction to the teaching profession.

EduTutors are paid a competitive honorarium for their time and receive ongoing support from an EduTutorVA Tutor Coach.

EduTutorVA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, partners with national research and learning organizations, like NWEA, to measure and improve outcomes for students.

EduTutorVA is strengthening the teacher pipeline in Virginia by offering field credit hours to education majors in VA and exposing others to alternative certification pathways into teaching.
